SÆBØ film festival

Fall 2026 marks our inaugural film festival—a free, outdoor, two-day celebration of live music and new short films in Upper Manhattan, featuring screenings by both emerging and established filmmakers from the neighborhood. For one weekend, we’ll clear the cars out of a Dyckman Street parking lot and transform it into an open-air cinema.

2026 Featured Artist: Annie Poon

Annie Poon’s short film Runaway Bathtub is part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Her work has also been featured at the National Gallery of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, the New Museum, and the Museum of Arts and Design, and her films have aired on Nickelodeon, PBS, and at the Chicago International Children’s Festival.
